Question on repairing a vehicle

U can only carry so many parts at once, so if i grabbed some parts and dropped them off in another place * that no one can find*

Will they remain in the same place i put them ? or will they despawn? Just basically wondering how you would get all the nessary parts to repair a vehicle , to the vehicle.

Use a tent for storage, that way you can make several visits to various locations and bring back the parts. If you leave stuff on the floor there is a good chance that it will despawn, especially if there is a server restart.

Also if you're planning on getting a vehicle it might be a good idea to grab a friend to play with you because i would never trust leaving it in the woods to raid somewhere, best to have somebody watching it.
