If you have a PC already you could always get this, will run the game well.

I would need more information though on your budget for a full PC like how much you can spend max.

Absurd advice....as if the video card is the only determining factor in whether or not the PC will run DAYZ. I suggest doing a google search for "system requirements for ARMA II" The main determining factors are 1) CPU (i believe a dual core @ 2.4 is min but not sure) 2) Available RAM 3) video card (probably any current generation Nforce card will do or high end last generation)

4) OS But this probably is not an issue.

EDIT: keep in mind that your power supply is a major determining factor in what video cards you can use. But with a prebuilt machine this likely a moot point

This game is more CPU intensive than GPU. I would focus on the basics and get an OK card if you can't afford it. Having a good computer with a crap card > having a good card with a crap computer.

Also....try and find a local computer store near where you live. Often they will build you a computer for very little above cost plus labor.

If you can...avoid more visible companies like CyberPower or Alienware or evn Dell...they will limit your choices and overcharge you. Do your homework and shop local.

I have a quad i7 2600 cpu, am nVidia 560Ti and 8gigs of RAM. This machine built to order cost me $1200 6 months ago including labor and warranty. That price includes windows 7 pro 64bit a small SSHard Drive motherboard case ect... It will play any game around (hopefully for the next couple of years) You should be able build a similar machine for $1000 or less by now. Prices drop alot in 6 months.

EDIT: in fact here's where i bought it www.enuinc.com to the custom desktop link to put together your own machine. This place has the best prices around no kidding. I picked mine up at the store but they do ship for a price of course. The link is being weird. just type the address into your browser.

OP, if you want to get the most bang for your buck, just put it together yourself, it's about as easy as plugging it in. I know it's not prebuilt, but you said you're on an extreme budget. (I'm assuming around $500) Here:

Any modern PC with a decent CPU can handle this game well and ram is very abudnant and cheap these days, this game may not be very GPU intensive, but that card can give him a smooth experience. From what I can see, my 2500k handles this game like its nothing(10-20% during gameplay I think) so a lower end cpu will handle this game just fine. This game is several years old now too? As I was suggesting a GPU in his current PC would be just fine as long as it's not some 8 year old peice of junk. Power supply could be an issue, but the GPU's Maximum Graphics Card Power (W) - 116W and 400WMinimum System Power Requirement (W)

I had an old PC that ran battlefield 3 on a e6600 processor quite well even though it was a major bottleneck and that CPU is terrible now.

"genghisjohn" is right though custom is the way to go, but you can get some really cheap prebuilts if you look around. I only custom build my own PCs and it's a fun hobby too that saves cash and gives me more bang for my buck excluding the fact I do it because I am primarily a PC gamer.

Don't know the OPs cash limit though or current PC so we can't really give him alot of suggestions yet. I do think he should go custom, he can OC, get free warrenties via each product item, save cash.
