ok so i got some gear and i had a MP5 with 3 mags.. had some good supplies and a Alice pack..

and i just hit up the store in Electro and i was going out when 2 guys run past me (didnt see me)

and i peak around the corner and one of the guys is behind (prone) a wirefence and he shoots at me..

im like OK Lets kill this A-Hole and i unload on his friend and killed him then the guy behind the WF..

i unload the rest of my 3 mags into him and he was only prone behind this WF and he shoots his pistol 3 times at me and i die

WWWTTTFFF im pissed now... screw this game for now

are Wirefences BulletProof?? cause if not I call bullshit

This isn't the place to post rants about how you died.

You did not empty 3 magazines into someone with an Mp5 before they killed you. Go take a nap and come back when you aren't grumpy about losing an automatic pistol and starter gear.

Hey i posted this here because i had a legitimate question about something and i am new to the game so i posted this and gave a description of how i saw it happen and Screw you for saying i didnt have any worth while gear.. cause in my eyes i had good gear so F**K Off

it seemed my bullets didnt go through the wirefence and his did... so ya

That's not really fair, Super.

There is a legitimate issue in the game where objects that ought to be semi-permeable with respect to ballistics objects are, in fact, impenetrable.

Case in point: if you fire a double-barrel pellet volley at someone behind one of the many barred fences in the game like thus you will find that 100% of the pellets strike the fence and any target immediately behind will be completely untouched and unaffected.

In reality even if only 20% of the pellets passed through the fence, a target beyond would be critically compromised.

Which is to say seriously fucked up.

I have died several times to prematurely spending my wad on someone who should have been vulnerable to my fire but was saved by an intervening yet insubstantial obstacle.

I'm sure this applies to wooden fences, trees, chain fences, windows, etc. in the game as well.

It's not unreasonable to ask for more realistic behavior in this regard. Some day.

If you want to test my assertions stand behind one of the fences in question and have a friend fire a double-barrel shotgun at your toddler-makers. Post pictures or preferable live-action video of the result.

I wasnt Attached to the gear.. MP5 was one of the best guns i have gotten so far... but ill find better.. im just pissed i lost it to something so stupid
