Evolse 0 Posted July 18, 2012 Hey all,I opened a ticket a few days ago regarding this, haven't really had any answer so I thought I'd ask the community. I applied for an instance ID, was approved, and I set the server up according to the instructions within 24 hours (UK 132). It's not however appearing on the server list - the email says it could take up to 24 hours but it's been 72-96 by now.Any help would be appreciated.
Orcworm 18 Posted July 18, 2012 Is 'reportingIP' blank in your server config?
ryahn 112 Posted July 18, 2012 Also make sure your ports are open.
Freeborne (DayZ) 7 Posted July 18, 2012 It's not DayZ problem if your server doesn't appear on "the list".Your server reports to GameSpy, which is what all the server browsers query to discover all the ARMA2 servers in the world. First make sure your arma2oa.exe loads correctly, and check what the console says.Mmake sure it's not saying "BattlEye initialization failed" for example.I would mention the server.cfg file too, and the ReportingIP line, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt in being smart enough to use Google to check you have that set up correctly. Server startup log:14:13:21 Dedicated host created.14:13:23 BattlEye Server: Initialized (v1.147)14:13:23 Host identity created.I would mention the server.cfg file too, and the ReportingIP line, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt in being smart enough to use Google to check you have that set up correctly.Yeah, the reportingIP line is set to arma2oapc.master.gamespy.com, so I think that should be fine.EDIT: I've managed to fix it. The startup command in the Google Docs file apparently didn't want to work (was causing it to not load @dayz or @hive, or any of the .cfg files). Used the one in the welcome email and it now works.
