MKP 0 Posted July 18, 2012 i like telling stories so im gonna try to get into the story as much as i can so it sounds more meaningful rather than "yeah i killed this guy and took his shit"My first run in with a bandit was back when we still spawned with makarovs. in side-chat someone asked to meet up at the dock of balota. being a noob, i thought my chances of survival would be better in a group. i replied and arrived to the meet-up spot only to be shot on the spot by the person who asked me to group up. i couldnt explain my anger as he took my beans and bandages. i quickly learned to not trust everyone in this game. i still wanted to play in a group so i convinced my friend to play.by then, i already was pretty knowledgeable about how this game works and we had just stopped spawning with pistols. my friend had spawned near elektro, but accidently fell in to the water off the docks and lost his bag and had a broken leg, he was just crawling on the docks. i was up north heading to elektro when he told me in skype he sees a guy running for him. i told him he was probably gonna be killed but the guy patched my friend up so he wasnt bleeding anymore. when i reached the docks i got to thinking.. my friend lost his backpack and there is a guy standing right here with alot of supplies. my friend needs those supplies and backpack. i told the guy to watch my back while i gave my friend morphine but when he turned his back to me i took him out with my lee einfield.i just ended this poor guy's life and took all the stuff he worked hard to get. i know exactly how the guy feels,yet i did the same thing to help out my friend. i felt bad. but we needed the supplies and who knows he could have been waiting to betray us after getting to know usit was my first taste of murder, not in self-defense.right after all this went down, i realized i didn't have the morphine my friend needed. so i hid him in a shed and sprinted for the hospital. on my way back i took a couple shots to the back, but i kept running for my friend once on the docks i had my friend tell me how far the bandit behind me was away from us as i was running down the docks. he was following me waiting for me to stop and engage him. i quickly turned crouched, aimed and fired. i took him out while he was trying to run behind one of the big cranes. i juiced-up my friend and looted his alice pack and revolver and AKM.as we were leaving elektro i saw someone running off in the distance, i aimed and fired at them in the hopes to land a shot with the AKM i just got, i must have hit him because i saw them lunge to the ground as i ran to confirm i had got him and to take the final shot. he was gone and disconnected. although i didnt get the kill. i felt good about what i did he could have had food and drinks that we needed. i felt a small rush and realized this is how i wanted to play the game. not camp in the forest and only go into town for supplies when i could take out the people that already looted the buildings.Nowadays my group has grown to 4-8 people per session and im the guy who watches the town with my DMR and directs them through the towns taking out survivors and having my group looting them and counter-sniping.tl:dr "i killed a good guy and enjoyed it so i do it lots now" lol Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

DexAnimus 3 Posted July 18, 2012 I actually just got my first kill on a player, I was searching around in the woods looking for a pond or anything that I could fill my canteen with when I came across a tent, cautiously I raised my lee enfeild and began to fan out in search of the owner. After a while I reached the edge of the treeline and looked out on to a large open field...something caught my eye, I looked through my binocs at what looked like a strange spec in the distance, to my surprise it was a player heading straight for me. I took cover under some foliage and waited for the stranger to pass, he ran straight past me and headed in the direction of the tent. Without hesitation I raised my rifle and shot him in the back, he fell like a sack of shit and I ran over and got the greatest survival loot ever.It was intense lol 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
