wok 25 Posted July 18, 2012 Today I wanted to play on a server with few players (yea, what a noob i am), so I ran sixlauncher and ordered the servers by players, tried to get into some servers randomly, until one worked. It worked pretty well, no lag or anything. But when I closed the game, i noticed the server name said something like "NO-CDKEY", so I guess it's a server for pirated versions of Arma.So my question is, what could happen if i get into these servers? Could they steal my cd key or something like that? Also, why would sixlauncher show these kind of servers in the list?
Deviant (DayZ) 43 Posted July 18, 2012 The servers are running but are not connected to the hive, as the hive runs on a "Whitelist" system. If you are not registered with the Hive, you cannot play dayz, as nothing will really work.
Rogan (DayZ) 24 Posted July 18, 2012 I wouldn't go anywhere near them, unless you enjoy hanging out with 12 year old script-kiddie retards.
