I was just reading a article and the creator of this mod said that there would be a standalone for this game. Is this true?

Hopefully. But expect a long wait.

Can also expect the majority of Arma 3 pre-orders to be canceled if it happens.

If he makes a standalone game, it won't be a mod.

And most likely be free to play with microtransactions, or so the trend is heading towards.

Rocket said he can't stand F2p.

I think it will be a one time fee game like 15 bucks for the game or something such as that.
