On the server CKWgaming.com the admins had a camp i found and raided it and now they look at cords when i log in and they try to kill me so they started shooting at me when i log in so i d/c and they said you combat d/c so were gonna ban you which they didnt and my friends friend is in there clan and he said they use a script to see all veichles and they take them and i also heard they dupe items by puting them in tents and restarting the server so if i log into there server they come and try to kill me so if you can please ban them for abuse. Report the server, NEVER play there again, and try to get that servers population down. That's all you can do .

We have not looked at coords in order to find you, we don't have access to that, do you have proof? We used someone who was your "friend" to get specific information about you and the location where you constantly combat logged to avoid being killed, which was FRAPS'd. We have copies of that conversation via Steam. As far as banning you, that's up to the actual admin of the server as he has proof of your logging. Your supposed friend is not apart of our clan and we know that he has been in contact with you from one of our sources, we have NEVER said anything about one of our members using a script hack to find vehicles, you are completely false and I would like to see recordings/conversations where it was said. We have over 15 people that frequent the server, we have found, lost, destroyed, etc over 15-20+ vehicles within the month or so the server has been online. As far as the duping of items, show proof? The server has been having various desync issues and has had to be restarted multiple times within the past week or so, the admins are working with the host to correct those issues.

You come here spitting lies about the CKW server but I see no screenshots, no video recordings to back any of your claims, where as if needed, we can provide video and text conversations to prove ours.

In regards to the inventory, you cannot check their current inventory or know locations of tents and vehicles. This is actually most often confused with people hacking. Unfortunley its a big issue with alot of servers in which people use malicious scripts to find vehicles/tents. The logs admins can view only provide limited information which is just hive logs and doesn't reveal realtime information. The post above is for reference of him disconnecting. Either way if a person knows your current location, current inventory and your vehicles/tent locations, you probably have a hacker in the server. :( I hope that clears things up a bit.

I'll tell you what admins can see..

We can tell what you spawn in with and see what you pick up and what weapons you have, but only in my case after the logs have been generated after a restart.. Actually this has helped me ban a few hackers who had thermal weapons which weren't in the game, namely an AS50 thermal... I also helps us to see who dc'd and logged back in..

As for tents, vehicles etc.. We used to be able to see how many of each had spawned in.. But the way they get synced with the hive has changed and we cannot see that now..

To be honest with you mate, the logs are great for looking for issues with problems and catching the odd hacker out, at no point do they give info out about live in game actions, apart from inven stuff....

Hello I'm a recently a new member to the CKW clan and basically for the last three days you have some how found our bases and cars and we don't know how you would find them because we moved them in entirely new areas. When you died at our base the way we killed you was you killed one of our clan members in base and we had someone else there who was looking for the killer after he died so we told another member afk in the middle of the base in our teamspeak server to come in the game who preceded to kill you while you were looting a tent. We did not look at your cords because admins are not able to see the information only the hive is available to do that.

You say that you have someone feeding you information from within our clan, wrong again. That person is known to be involved with you and any specific information about anything is never released to that person. Do you have recordings of that specific conversation? Would love to hear it. 0 for 2. The CKW clan is made up of individuals who respect gaming, the community that has developed on their server and in no way would jeapordize a server they payed for out of their own pockets to RISK doing anything that might compromise the DayZ server. If you have actual proof, show it, if not, go to another server and enjoy your DayZ experience. I believe that brings the count to 0 for 3, you're not very good at this are you?

A clarification.

We dont want serverhosters to be the judge & executioneer (banning) due to the fact that it will get misused easily. It's sometimes hard for serverhosters to make a coolheaded decision. I've seen this happen way too often.

If you have solid proof of someone exploiting we ask you to file a ticket at support.dayzmod.com with the proof and we'll look into it.

As always, we cant discuss the outcome of an investigation but would like you all to know that we do take exploiting seriously and will give warnings and eventually bans for repeat offenders.

I'd also like to mention that players who see a serverhost abuse can file a ticket too about this to get a fair thirdparty view. We will either contact the serverhost or take action directly depending on severity of the issue.

"We don't want" =!= We will blacklist your server. I feel that Ander's post is, to be perfectly honest, wrong.

If you are combat disconnecting you deserve the ban. Absolute horseshit that you think you deserve to complain, when you dont even play fair yourself.

Yes, you can go pull a rather large log file a few minutes after the player logs and when it updates. Then you can download and parse it to figure that out. Its hardly real time, requires a great deal of effort, hard to read and the coordinates mean nothing. It doesn't say "Hey Jack loaded 200M south of Pustoka with an AS50 and is running north". Its friggin useless if you're thinking its an Admin hack or power

It isn't useless at all. If can be used to locate a vehicle someone stole from your camp or find other peoples camp. If they go and hide it and log off, you get their last location. You can try and justify it anyway you want but it gives players positions away and tells admins what items users have. I merely pointed out that the person that posted above saying server admins did not have access to this was not correct. Yes it isn't real time with the location. Parsing it is hardly hard at all as you just have to do a search for the users name.

At no point in Rocket's post does it say that Combat DC is a bannable offense. In face, the DayZ admins have stated MULTIPLE times that the only bannable offenses are 1. Racism/Discrimination and 2. Vulgar/Offensive Language.

You have, in fact, violated the rules in banning this person for combat logging. He could, therefore, report your server for breaking the rules.

Please read the rules before you take matters into your own hands.
