binarymasta 0 Posted July 17, 2012 I logged in a server(random server, 40+ people) And infront of me was a dead dude with a DMR , and NVG. I took the loot, scoped out the place some and then hopped on a server with a couple of friends . ( I was on the first server for maybe 5 mins total) . When I logged on the new server, I had my old CZ550 instead of the Dmr i just replaced it with. Is there a minimum amount of time you have to spend on a server after receiving loot for it to save to the main server? Thanks.
Caviano 287 Posted July 17, 2012 Always seems like that lol. It's odd sometimes yes, sometimes no, I just stay on a server till I'm done playing my session or going afk.
sixbarns 217 Posted July 17, 2012 I smell a hopper. For the record, it does take a while to save items. I'm glad it does. It cuts down on people who jump into a server, grab something off a dead body they sniped before dc'ing, and then jump away.
Mike Montressor 0 Posted July 17, 2012 Heck, I was all happy when I found a canteen and a revolver right away yesterday with a new character. Logged off, and when I logged in today, still had the canteen and revolver, but I have no backpack anymore? Now my inventory is maxed and I have to make decisions on everything that I find. Not fun with only 3 hours or so in game so far. :-)
Ujinty 9 Posted July 17, 2012 It depends on the server. I've logged out immediately after picking up an item, and kept it, and then picked up an item and logged off a good 30 minutes later, to lose the item. Some servers don't seem to save your items as often, or as quickly... or something. B)
