How do I ban repeated abusers?

Hi,

Can't figure out how to ban people from our server.

We've had a flood of hackers and shit, but they keep coming back just to mess with us.

Use BERcon or just use the Server Controll in game.

Enter the rcon password and click the playername > ban.

Enter the rcon password and click the playername > ban.

Only option I have is "Kick off". :(

Only problem is that I get the message "Invalid rcon password" when I try to log in via the tool.

Any ideas?

Be aware of the recently clarified rules for banning, specifically:

Yes if player is flying for example hacked in vehicle , spawning ammoboxes and such (temp ban, but send us the details so we can investigate as thirdparty - if you do not file a support.dayzmod.com ticket you instead risk getting server blacklisted since we do not know the reason why a certain player is banned/kicked from the server).
