Direct Channel not working

Hello,

The direct channel is not working for me. A friend of me can read my messages but I never receipt a message from him (same problem with other players). I try to reinstall arma 2 + arrowhead but no effect. I use it since the Beta patch is required and use always the newsest beta patch and have no idea why.

We play the most time on servers with side channels now and other players tell me/us, that they have the same effect. Any idea how to fix the problem (if it's possible)?

They recently removed the global/side chat.Chatting in this game is non existent.

Wrong.

It excist a Direct Channel and people can chat inside a small range but it's not possible for some players.
