Why am I stuck in one server.......

I got a broekn leg and zombies can't kill me for some reason. So i abort the game, and try joining a new server and it keeps on bringing me back to the same server i just left what the f**k is this ?

Your character is persistent. Barring glitches, you will be at the same location, with the same items, and the same injuries, on whichever server you join. This is a major feature of the game, and I'm surprised you missed out on the fact.
