I'm stuck in an incapacitated half dead state.

While being killed by zombies I bandaged myself right before dying. When I respawned, all I see is the hourglass figure and my blood is stuck around 800 (see attachment). I restarted the game several times and tried doing nothing in game for about 30 minutes and nothing changed. Pressing ESC doesn't do anything either. Is there a way to force a respawn or some kind of manual override? Will I have to wait for a dev server restart? Please help.
