ARMA II has stopped working

So my game worked fine until I installed windows 7 updates and the next day arma 2 has stopped working error started popping, I tried reinstalling the game, tried installing updates but nothing seems to work.. can anyone help?

Need more details, what does the error message say?

nothing... it just says that the game stopped working :/

I am getting the same thing from updating battle eye, and it just started today

tried to get into a 1.7.2.3 server with beta 95054 and get to the loading screen and then i get the windows pop up message stating Arma stopped working
