Using Skype/Ventrillo/Teamspeak while Playing

Recommended Posts

How do you set this up? Either one of two issues occurs when I try to do this:

1. The hotkey push to talk dosen't work in game

2. When the program is on and talking, it mutes my game volume or brings it down a lot. How do I keep both running at full?

go into your volume controls, crank master volume to 100% ie DayZ, and turn skype to 50% so your game volume isn't altered during play.

1. never had problems w/ push to talk keys with teamspeak and mumble so cant tell what that could be..

2. I think what you mean is the windows setting for audio there is some random setting I cant remember in there that allows apps to turn down volume (skype does it aswell) you should be able to disable it in one of the audio settings tabs in windows, and probably even locally in the voicecom.
