Blue screen when using 6 Launcher...

Every time I attempt to use 6 Launcher to play the game I get bluescreened. It's typically after clicking join I instantaneously get a blue screen! I have been using another updater/launcher (http://www.richardbe...ml#.UAWNu2HcNsK) but lately I have been unable to get it to work.. I get stuck at the loading in screen in the game. I have tried reinstalling all of ARMA2, I have toyed around with system files a number of times using the fixes around this forum and none have worked.

Is there another way to launch the game to ensure I grab the update? I'm thinking that is the problem. A friend of mine uses the 2nd option above and he was prompted with an update last night and it worked fine for him. I am still having problems.

Other than that, anyone have any suggestions for getting 6 Launcher to not brick my computer every time I use it?

Do not use this pos. I started to install it and backed out half way through. I had to re-install google chrome to get rid of all the crap it added.

Don't use 6launcher, use DayZ Commander. much better UI, customisable filters.. just better.

Iam playing DayZ for a while now, but yesterday i had a blue screen too (the first one i had with this system: windows 7). Right after clicking launch.

Burro, thanks! I've had to a similar problem. Still got some stuff stuck on my system but I'm too cautious of trying to delete it. I don't know how long I've had this game. Bought Arma 2 and CO just to play Day Z and cannot get it to install. Asked for help and people tried but I couldn't understand the advice about getting a ticket. Must be weeks I've had it. My friends all have it now and tell me I've done the same as then but I can't have. So I will take a look at dayzcommander. Thanks. :)

Alright, so I did download Dayzcommander and it says that Dayz is out of date. I did click the link within Dayzcommander to update, downloaded the files, and replaced them in the right folder but it still shows out of date.

Is there a more steamlined and conclusive update option?

EDIT: It doesn't even have my current version listed in dayzcommander?

Can you run the normal Arma II and Arma II: Operation Arrowhead? If this is working then you have a problem with the mod and if it is not then you have a problem with Arma II.

Have you tried following the various guides on installing and updating? There are quite a few on the forums if you search for them.

Some servers are quite slow and you sit on the "loading" screen for some time before you can join the game, or you are forced to close the game and try again.

I even stated earlier that I had tried all the fix guides around on the web.
