Today I had an update on Steam of arma2, (This lasted for 3 hours)... Now I come to any of the server!!! is described in the steam ... Rocket:DayZ is "two or three hours away from complete disaster at any time" an d screenshots of arma3 etc. ... so now when I select a server, is an error-reporting ... "Bad serial number given in setup" ...what setup and what serial number? pls help!

Err... Isn't that the error you get when you fail to run both Arma 2 and the expansion before trying Day Z?

Uhh...

An expansion is an add-on to the original game (Arma 2). You need to have the extra part in order to play the Day Z mod.

I can already play dayz 1 month, I now have from the stupidity dressed FKG steam, and I pressed refresh on arma2, and now the problem is!

I didn't know you could refresh Arma 2. Maybe you're better at using the computer than I thought.

I had steam fix that for me

-right click to OA from library

-Select the tab called "Local Files"

-Click on the option "Verify Integrity of the game cache"

-Take a while but working

-Steam is going to download what seems to be corrupt to him usually 2-3 small files

Actually every game I have on steam I was able to fix them every single time by asking that from steam
