rockwood 10 Posted July 17, 2012 I recently disconnected while sneaking around a town. I know it was a bad idea, but I had something to do and I didn't leave myself enough time to play dayz. So there were zombies around me and whatever, but I had not been seen. If i go back into the same server will the zombies still be around me or will they re spawn back at their spawn point. What happens with other servers?
M O N S T E R 599 Posted July 17, 2012 Zombies will continue acting like zombies, no matter what you do.Did that help? B) In all seriousness, why don't you just log in then look around? If zombies are aggro'd immediately, run away or kill them. What you're asking for help with isn't exactly a complicated problem. Decisions you make on the spot will suffice.-MONSTER

What happens with other servers?Zombies are spawned locally. Meaning if you're in a town and zombies start to spawn, they're spawning because of you. If you leave, they're removed. This is a memory management process. If you log back in, there'll be a small window where there won't be any zombies around you. You can test this by shooting your gun, aggro'ing zombies, logging out to the lobby and back in again. You'll see the zombies are gone.
