Rangefinder nightvision?

I recently got a rangefinder, and i noticed something odd. I had binoculars in the binoculars slot, but the rangefinders was in my NVG slot? It is my understanding that the rangefinder has nightvision implimented, but the nightvision did not work, so I tried putting the binocs in my bag, so the rangefinder would move to the binoculars slot. It did, but still no nightvision. Everytime i wear binocs and rangefinder, the rangefinder pops over to the NVG slot, am i doing something wrong or is it bugged or what?

Sure you didn't rebind the Key? Default is N but it can be re-bound.

Nothing is wrong them kinda items just get put in both slots if theres no space in the first slot, rangefinders dont have Nightvision.

LoL anthrax you ever had a pair of rangefinders ? Because they do have nightvision but you cant run about with the held up to your eyes for NV.

ah I have had a pair but I didnt use it for night vision as I always have night vision when I have range finders so nvm

The Rangefinder is basically a set of binoculars with toggable NV and well.. a range finder.

When you look trough the rangefinder you can press N to toggle NV.

Rangefinders can't be used as a pair of NV goggles tough.

So.. i can not run around with NV on, like i can with NVG's? If i want to have NV without zooming in with binocs/rangefinder, i have to find myself a pair of NVG's right?

yes

2 slots that can contain any combination of bino's, nvg and range finders. so dump the bino's keep the range finder and stick nvg's in the spare slot
