Yer i am giving it till monday i am just abit anoying the server was up yesterday when i paid for it then they just removed the admin cp and i can not do anything at all i had just seen after searching the net many complaints about them i am not saying there service is no good just saying for me it dont exist lol :D

Jesus Christ guys give a small company a break I wasn't aware that a dayz server is such a vital issue that a couple days delay was worth crying over. I run a small online gaming company with a friend. Sometimes when we order servers from data centers we have to wait 2-3 weeks, over this time losing thousands of USD per day of downtime and I complain less then you guys do over a couple days waiting for a 40$ game server. The data centers don't give updates or take time to post on forums about what is causing the delays and the sure as shit wouldn't give a refund so easily.

After reading this topic and Jonnerz replies I decided to get a dayz server through his host. I'll now wait patiently for it to be set up EVEN if it takes longer then expected because I'm a rational adult who understands that delays sometimes happen.

My server has been inactive for 2 months, i was told i was going to receive a refund for the last month we had it up because of major server problems, (re-installation 2 times). I was waiting on this refund to post to my paypal and then was going to cancel my auto-matic pay. I am starting a business IRL and have been working almost non-stop on the building we purchased, but i do check my email, i planned to cancel the auto pay upon the refund of the last month, which i had paid, not received free to my knowledge.

so 2 days ago, i put in a ticket and see that i have 80 dollars credit, i have no current services with HA, and don't plan to have any, so the credit is uesless, i petition for a refund from billing. 2 days later i receive this response "Credit is non refundable. This is stated when adding credit to an account.Maybe this was the case, but if so, then why in august did i receive a notification that i was refunded for the month of august. I will need to check into my paypal and look into this, but at the moment, i have been working 16 hour days putting fiberglass insulation in my office, so i'm tired and itchy, but the response was short and i think kind of rude, especially considering i have apparently been refunded before. as i said i have no current services so the HA credit is completely useless to me. I would GREATLY appreciate someone that has maybe a little courteousness and training in customer service work with me rather than a contractual citation in response to my request.

I do want my 80 dollars back, and i can't say that HA has been horrible, but if this is how they prefer to end off their business with me, then yeah, i think that's horrible. so Jonnerz, if you are still there man and watching these posts. please help me get to the bottom of this, i would greatly appreciate.

I've seen large hosting companies take over a month for a server they told me would take 3 days these are systems that I pay thousands a month for that each make me 500-2500$ a day in profit so 13,500-67,500$ in lost profit over them taking longer then expected and for this I bitch less then you do over you losing 2 days of use of a 40$/month server... That's my main point really it's 40$ you know you WILL get the server you just might have to wait a little longer then you expected... If you were to go order a dedi you would wait a good 2-3 days minimum for it to get set up and pay much much more then 40$ yet you are crying over a small delay from a much smaller company then you would be ordering that dedi from. Took less then an hour to get my server and that was AMAZING for such a small company...

If I want a vps instead can my current server id pass over to the vps? Also where do you supply the vps in Europe?

Just 40$ thats ok for someone that has lots off money to throw around and my server still aint up i dont care the server is takeing so long what is getting to me is the lack off customer support regarding the issue so do yourself a favour and jog on!

(oh and just to add they emailed me at midnight 2 days ago saying it would be upin 30 mins 2 more days later)

Dont try defending a company that does not respect there customers cause at the end off the day they are the ones that pay the bills i am just gonna ask for refund and be done with it cause this is stupid (quote from there site our Dayz servers are now setup instant after ordering!)

#879920 jonnerz, can you please expedite this ticket? i was billed AGAIN today, AFTER i cancelled paypal payments. 31.68$

looks like my august payment, though i recieved a ticket stating the payment had been sent back, i have no record of receiving it, and this reflects in the HA console under current balance, which is now 80 dollars, plus today, monday i was billed the above amount. that puts us at 111.68$, unless i get another hit on my bank.

please help man.

i am receiving responses from the staff, it's not as fast as i'd like, i'm not giving up dude, jonnerz has always tried to help. there's a couple of dudes that have done their best i think. But yeah, it really sucks

see thats all i want is jonnerz to atleast answer a ticket or let me know whats happening its not much to ask for there live chat is offline always there phone is not takeing calls it just sounds like a con to me i am sorry but it does i know and understand sometimes it takes awhile to get a server up and going but this is just a joke no customer support at all and ignoring phone calls i am not a wealthy person and 40$ a month to me is alot off money this game give me alot off enjoyment with friends and at the moment i amnot happy at all (sorry i keep moaning but this is so anoying)

(in end got my server tonight updated it as was needed and boom its down again happy days )

Does anyone know if theres a place to dl the host altitude server files as there freaking updater is now not working they are so awesome are host altitude!

my ticket was closed, HA has 80 USD of mine and won't refund it, i have no active services. And they have essentially told me to go screw off. not responding to my tickets, and the responses i've had are 8 word sentences that say, you should have read our terms and conditions.

I would not recommend this service to anyone not because their hosting is terrible, but because their customer service is horrendous.

I will be contacting my bank to attempt a charge back, even though HA claims they have no access to my direct draft, i was drafted 31.68 last week, directly from my account. I do not know how this is possibly since i never gave them that information, unless they charged me 40$+31.68$ and the 31 came out of my checking because paypal did not have the funds to cover it.

either way. poor customer service, and insulting customers instead of even trying to open a dialog to resolve an issue is bad policy plain and simple. I run 3 businesses, and i don't understand why people do this to themselves, a model like that is unsustainable, no matter how much a client wants your services. Eventually, you will run out of clients.

I haven't used HA for months (see my previous posts in this thread to know why.. what a nightmare) yet I was billed a few weeks ago for a service that doesn't even exist. I asked HA about it and they never responded.. I waited a week and now I'm in dispute with them via PayPal. Ugh, what a pain in the a**. Worst company I've ever dealt with, and I mean that seriously.

HA is run buy a 19 year old jonnerz from london uk there company is based in leeds not far from a friend off mine i have had a server with HA for the last two weeks it has spent more time down then up there updater is broken or server error i cancled my payment to them via there site and after reading these comments i will do so from the bank also i am evan thinking as i live in the uk i should to see tradeing standards on the issue and point them towards all these complaints i feel for you all that are having the same problem maybe he should hire some more staff.

i dont think it all jonnerz fault they are a small company but he does need to fix things asap (otherwise i can see there company going down the pan)

Only reason you would like to disable be are to hack. Also their managed servers only connect to hive. If you get a vps/dedicated server I gues its up to you. Being conected to hive with be of isn't allowed.

This is probably the worst company I ever tried.... We tried to rent a dedicated server since Sep 28, according to their website it should be done in 2 days but we didn't received any confirmation, nothing. We opened a ticket to ask about what happened with the server and so far we have not received a word from the "24/7" support team. Now we have requested a total refund, let's see if they reply. Does this company really exists? :S

They where supposed to have merged with another company but they have yet to announce anything so im gonna leave them after 5 month now.

I don't even care anymore. They promised last week. So now I canceld my service cause this is just pure bullshit. This punk kid shouldn't be allowed to run a company.
