Always spawn in 'Wilderness'. Wont create new character! Help pls.

I died recently... now whenever i join a server I start in the Wilderness.. it does not ask me if i want to be male or female, I just spawn in the middle of nowhere.

Using Dayz 1.2.3

Arma Beta patch. 1.61.94876

Happens on all servers i've tried.

No idea what to do... I've had a search here in the forums and can't see this issue.

Please help as i can't play at all.
