Large Roaming Hordes

Here is the scene for you, you just got tons of loot at Stary Sobor and you are on your way back to your camps in the West. Running along the fields you notice something. A large group of some kind reassuring in the dozens walking straight towards your position. Out of fear you fire your M4...... you have just made a grave mistake. The horde turns and look straight at you and begin to charge.

This is something I have thought about which I think is a cool idea. At the beginning of this games' life Zombies were a huge threat but now they are more of a nuisance then anything else. Lets put the fear back into player with this idea. You see the horde, what do you do? Do you try to fight them all, do you run pass them, do you risk sneaking by? make them roaming so they could show up at anytime, anywhere, without anyone knowing. Have them carry better loot then the normal can of pasta and mak mags. Have some carry actually weapons like pistols or SMGs. This would also give a new use for explosives. Carry a grenade or two on you at all times just in case. Just a rough idea, what do you all think?

That would be pretty cool, dunno about the zombies carrying guns as better people would have easy pickings with 12 zombies when each one would give him a gun. But you are right on zombies being a nuisance they should be a much harder opponent but at the same time do we want to respawn and find our selves running away from zombies which we cant kill so early, maybe zombies should get harder further inland or maybe in more populated areas.

+1 except the guns.. just shoudl be normal loot but since there are some many more zombies killing the horde would likly be rewarded with loads of food and mags.
