I'm Not Afraid Of Thunder In Real Life...

Recommended Posts

But I swear every time I hear a clap of thunder in game I come pretty close to wreaking havoc on my undergarments. I love how much this game makes you value your life, and the immense rush you feel whenever you hear gunshots ringing. This game gets my heart pumping like no other game I've ever played.

Anything make you jump out of your chair?

I have it on video and will post soon. But the ending of my part three did make my heart stop.

I was scavenging 4 zombie bodies and 1 player body, the player body must have died to the zombies. I'm prone on the ground with a hatchet in my hands when I hear player foot steps.

I look around for a couple seconds and no longer hear anything so I go back to looting.

Then I turn around and there's a magnum being pointed directly at my head by a player standing 15 feet away.......I RUSHED to my caps lock to tell him I was friendly but it was to late and my player was pushin Dayzies. Before "You are Dead" came up I cried into my mike "WHY, WHY. I'm friendly!" and the player responded "sorry".

I have it all on video. Can't wait for the forums to see it!.

Same thing happened to me last night, thunder made me jump out of my skin.

This game's incredible, I murdered someone for their rifle last night, my hands were shaking afterwards.

Same shit literally just happened to me. I spawned just outside of Elektro, and heard DMR fire from the sniper hill. I run into a warehouse find a hatchet, and hunt the sniper down and manage to sneak up on him and kill him. He had 2 NVGs, GPS, and 60 rounds of DMR. I've never had loot that good, and while I was looting him I thought I might have a heart attack. It was fucking exhilarating

I was playing last night as a storm rolled in here. I was creeping around Green Mountain as the sun (in game) was going down (after having just read a few Urban Legends on the forums here). Thunder outside CRACKS - I JUMPED up out of my chair. My heart was banging so hard lol. I had to log off and walk around for about 10 minutes just to calm down. :)

I can only imagine! Thunder is scary enough as it is, coupled with the Location-That-Shall-Not-Be-Named would is like a perfect storm of terror. That would definitely chocolate my pants
