Backpack disappeared after swimming in the ocean?

Recently, I decided to go swim in DayZ. When I did, my backpack mysteriously disappeared under the water, and I can't pick it back up. Any help? :huh:

Sorry to say, that's the risk you take when you try swimming with a backpack. If there's other items surrounding the backup make sure you pick them up, before trying to pickup the backpack. Otherwise I can't say much else.
