Bad Serial Key on Startup

When i try to launch the Dayz game, an error message appears saying that i have a bad serial key on setup.

Does anybody know how i can fix this?

Note: I purchased the game off Steam and it runs perfectly fine un-modded.

found a fix.

if on steam, close it completely, right click on steam in the startup menu, click run as administrator, and all is well! :)
