Ugh. Tips on finding tents / vehicles?

My small group has been raiding towns all day and we've yet to see a single vehicle or tent. We're getting a bit anxious as we want to set up a base and stockpile supplies before our inevitable deaths...

Any advice on reliable locations for this stuff? We've been hitting marked locations on the dayz db map but to no avail.

We've been rolling through nearly every supermarket along the western side of the map, particularly in the north.

Check nearby forests, just past the entrance. Behind trees/bushes and rocks.

Mine is hidden a good mile away from Cherno, and elektro. Lets me run between the both for loot while actively storing things. Plus if I die its an easy run to. I won't say what server mind you, but think like that when trying to find them. Easy to reach, hard to see.

Ones that are easy to reach, easy to see. Are probably traps.

Your best chance is from a supermarket (1% spawn rate - it's .25% from residential areas), but after a server restart the supermarkets get cleaned out pretty fast, so you need to be really lucky after then to find one. Your best bet is to hit supermarkets right after a server restarts, or find them in other people's tents that you raid (that's how I get about half of ours).

Usually, most vehicles have been grabbed by various groups and clans, and will still be stored outside map if you believe the other thread about vehicles outside map boundaries not despawning. Best case scenario they decide to keep it inside the map, and then its still down to luck or their lack of creativity/abundance of stupidity that decides if you'll be able to find them.

Supermarkets is where I've found most of my tents. Vehicles have spawns and there's external maps which have them listed.

For vehicles, hit the NW quadrant of the map. A LOT of people stash their vehicles in that area.

The area from Lopatino going north and to the west of the road going up through the pass - that corner of the map.

Same here, been spending the a lot of my game time scouring for a vehicle. You either get lucky, like I did one day finding a bike and a bus, that's right a bus, in one go mind you. Either that or you're gonna have to scout the spawn locations. I've been using these maps and youtube vids to help me.

A few patches ago they randomized the spawn locations a lot more than they were previously, so a lot of the guides and videos are out of date and are missing several spawn locations.
