Another Suggestion to fix the PVP disconnects....No, not like the rest of the suggestion.s

Most people are suggesting a time out counter for anyone to logout. Like the one in WoW where you have to wait 20 seconds? The problem with this method to prevent logging is that you can duplicate items VERY easily. So I suggest a more simple method:

Everyone knows the shock signal correct? If you logout while in shock you spawn in the server unconcious for 5 minutes.

You go into shock if you are hit, shot at, or sometimes fall from a good amount of height or even sometimes when you crawl into your own tent, thats currently how you can get shock.

My suggestion is this: A bullet meter. Acts just like the shock meter but is only activated when a bullet lands near you or passes near you. It hangs around for 5 minutes, if someone disconnects with this meter in play it will kill you upon relogging.

-Yes I've read other threads suggesting solutions to fix pvp disconnecting.

If this is implemented, they need to make shock only last for about 10 minutes. I don't want to be put into shock by a glitchy door to wait 30 minutes to log out >.>

I thought you had something there for a moment, until I read the part where you said they get killed when they login, I dislike this! I have logged out when my player is in shock several times, Not to run from a fight, Just because my player is in shock from possibly falling or other methods and I just had to leave at the time.

Ontop of that computers do Crash, Servers can crash, Server reboots do happen and DDOS attacks can happen at anytime, What if your player is in shock and one of these things cause a Disconnect? What if your kicked from the server while in shock by BE because it's screwing up like it did 2 weeks ago? Your character is dead because of these things.

What if a server admin gets killed, and can't take it and shuts the server off in Rage to knowing the killers are also in shock and they will be killed upon login? Or just kicks them?

Too many things can cause a Disconnect so I disagree with this, But it would be simple to check if a bullet flys past someone or hits them around the time they logout and then deal with them that way, but for as far as killing a person if they log when in shock, I say no.

Half way through reading your post this same idea popped into my head. A bullet meter. Acts just like the shock meter but is only activated when a bullet lands near you or passes near you.
