OMG lost my AK!

For some reason I swapped my AK for a Remington 870 (i think) but found that it didnt have any bullets! So I try to swap back but the AK and the 2 clips of ammo for it but it was gone... QQ

Now I have no ammo or other gun...

It sounds like you popped the other rifle, if you put something in your bag that wont fit it pops.

naa he dropped the ak on the loot pile when it was replaced with the remington

dropping weapons often makes the ammo vanish, so dont be swapping unless your sure you want it and can see it has ammo on the gear list, look on the bright side ak74 ammo(guessing thats the model you have) ammo is pretty common so youll get a few mags just hitting up a few deerstands

I had to log out in the tree stand because I am unarmed and there was a hopper at the end of the latter looking up at me. Hopefully when I log back in the coast will be clear and something else useful will spawn

Don't feel too bad, I lost both an M16 and a crossbow last night due to not being able to figure out the inventory. Luckily I didn't have ammo for either. Now if only I could find an AK...

he will be gone, however there wont be loot as your sat on the loot spot, and if there is that means someones moved close enough to generate loot recently
