Hey guys,

i'm also a "summer sale kid", so dont be harsh with me and my problems.

First of all, when i got arma 2: co for steam i followed the installation instructions from the dayz-wiki and tried 6 launcher to get dayz working.

Everything went smooth and fine.

The next day, everything changed: It started with the famous crash to desktop bug in the tank loading-screen. I was able to fix this nonsense with the instructions made by Rammfisch (http://dayzmod.com/f...-desktop-fixed/).

Now the game is running and i can enjoy dayz...for about 30sec or less. Every single time i'm starting losing connection and get kicked by the server: Kick: BattlEye Client does not respond

I tried to fix this with reinstalling arma 2 + co, getting dayz manually, reinstalling battleye, getting the battleye files from the battleye homepage for manuell patching, I even got the battleye files from a friend who is running dayz totally fine...

Now i'm a little bit desperate, so i ask you: what should i do? what can i do? what will help?

Or should i just wait and wait and wait for the next update?

I already did...about 10 times today. Then the circle starts again with the fancy crash to desktop at the tank loading screen :(

I get this as well.

As soon as I get into a game (loading character screen etc) I get 'The Battleye Client is not responding)

I have done the below.

  • Download and install beta patch from http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php (Latest patch is in the green field top of page)
  • If you are met with a "Password screen" then choose the top version on page (Not in the green field)
  • Go to the Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead directory (for example C:\Program Files (x86)\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2 Operation Arrowhead) and right-click -> edit on .cmd file "_runA2CO_beta.cmd". Search for ":run" near the end of the file. Add ";@dayz" without quotes to "-mod=%_ARMA2PATH%;EXPANSION;ca".
  • Run "_runA2CO_beta.cmd" and enjoy playing!

Then launched using SixLauncher.

Run the game previously as administrator.

I do not have a netgear DGN1000 router (and my current router does not allow me to change the multiplexing method)

I have tried builds 94876, 94945 and 94997 (still the same issue)

I've tried turning off my windows firewall and running the game (still the same issue)

I've tried manually updating Battleye from the battleye website (still the same issue).

Anything else anyone can think of?

Today with the new RC #2 i tried my luck again with a fresh install of arma 2 and arma 2: oa.

First off, i failed again to fix my problem.

I used the patcher provided by BIStudios http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?137339-ARMA-2-OA-1-61-%28Release-Candidate-2%29-build-95054

to upgrade my fresh game. Then i installed dayz manually.

Then i picked a 95054 Server and was kicked in less then 30sec.

I removed all BattlEye files before i started fresh and was hoping the new RC would install the correct versions of BattlEye...it didnt work out well :(

Any suggestions? Anyone with the same problems?

getting the same problem, but it only showed up after updating beta patch to 94876.

could play for about 15 minutes, now i am getting constantly kicked with the same error message.

Tried all the fixes, none have worked.

although it seems to be limited to select servers.. conviently which i have all my good loot inside a tent on. :P

edit: i cant get into any other servers right now to confirm this, but i'm not getting kicked waiting at the slot selection screen.

edit: off topic, apparenty im blind, but was there not a topic to report players who would alt f4 once killed? if so links would be awesome.

Error still present...

With a clean installment of arma 2: co i can play for hours on regular servers. The battleye stuff starts coming up when i get beta patches or something else above 1.60

So in my eyes the error has something to do with the 1.61 beta and rc versions :(

I played on several servers just fine last night and this morning, but then they did a server restart and I can't get on. For us208 I was getting to the "loading" page with a full bar and never beyond that but today I either get that or it says I'm kicked because "battleye client not responding".

What has changed in the few hours since I played last night?

Tried the latest beta patch 95054 - but still no joy here.

Using the latest Battleye DLL files too, and this was after sixupdators latest update (basically, it didnt seem to solve anything.

Still get "Battleye client failed to initialise."

Anyone found a fix?

Since yesterday night, me and my buddies get the same "not responding" battleeye message.

We on beta 1.61.94876. After server switch the horror began. It was impossible to find a server in the EU without getting kicked.

Finally we found a working US server.

Today same story, Just found 1 working server in the US, not a single EU :(

updated to the latest beta yesterday via six launcher, and i can now play fine. was just possbily a bad install of a beta.

Edit: It then decided to update but now i cant join any server what so ever....

Edit 2: Oh there is only a handfull of servers that are using this beta patch, and it has fixed the battleye issue

My friend is getting the same problem. He installed the game today - I bought it yesterday for him on the Steam sale - and he can't get into any server.

This is so frustrating.

Got the same thing. I've been a normal player for awhile where is rocket or anyone to help us with this annoying problem?

if you are running the latest Beta 95168....you can only play on servers that run same Beta version

Set filter on 95168 and the right ones will be there
