Some banditry thoughts,

I see a plenty of suggestions trying to "nerf" bandits:

-Sweating

-Depression

-hemorrhoids

-The list is long...

What stops a human to kill another one? I thought in some motives.

- Morality,

The whole package of ethic and rules that a human receive during his life until the present. That person will not kill because he think that is wrong. A imoral bandit will kill you because he think it is better for him, he knows that murder is wrong but he ignores it. A psychotic is an amoral person he do not see the "perversity" behind the murder.

- Laws;

Well laws are the rules wrote by the people and reflects the whole package of multiple moral codes. If you tresspass the law, probably you will be punished. Thats why sometimes i want a guy dead but he still alive, because i'd rather be not in jail.

- Fear.

Imagine a tall guy fighting a small guy. He beats the hell of that tiny guy, because he fears not him.

Imagine a burglar break in others house and make hostages. He feels that he is on the power. Now he looks outside of the window and see the swat, then he pees his pants.

Imagine a guy trying to rob you with a knife, then you push your revolver. The guy runs like a mtfkr...

Some real life experiences.

Now the situation here in Brazil,

The police is not effective, almost 60.000 people are murdered every year in Brazil. Just 8% of the murders are investigated.

Because this, the laws are not put into practice, and the Bad Guys don't fear the Laws...

To make things better the government makes almost impossible to you to have a gun, so the bad guys are almost 100% sure that if he enter your house he will not find a threat.

They kill just to see how the body falls. No regrets, no sweat, no diarrhea nor hemorrhoids.

Now back to Dayz

-Now imagine a place without morality

(it's just a game, the guy behind the monitor will not fell guilty because you lost your virtual life);

-Without laws completely;

It's a hell.

Now we have guns to put down whom is trying to take your life, now imagine without guns.
