LordPie 0 Posted July 16, 2012 (edited) EDIT: 255 appears to be reconnected to the hive... looks like they took notice. disregard this thread I guessEDIT2: OK so it appears this was just a sync issue of some sort and not the fault of us255 at all, my appologies. after dying on the naked character on a different server I respawned onto the one I was playing on us255. all is well!Extremely frustrating. Spent a lot of time on this server gathering a pretty good set of gear. I went into another server today and it asked me what gender I wanted, I selected male thinking it was a glitch and it spawned me on the beaches near cherno. Now every server except US 255 that I join puts me on the noob beach character so I know that must be the offical one. However joining back into 255 and I back on my guy with a good gun and all my gear.Can anyone else attempt this to see if they get similar results? zq7 67 Posted July 16, 2012 (edited) I've had a similar experience.Logged on a server, got me some gear, logged off.Logged in on a 2nd server, same gear, logged off.Logged on the day after on a 3rd server, no gear - new start - died, logged off.Logged on the 3rd server, same as the 3rd server - fresh spawn, logged off.Logged on the 4th server, got the gear that I had on the first 2 servers, logged off.Can't wait to see what next server will give me.. my old char or a fresh one, the suspense is killing me.This might be a stupid question, but is there a way to be 100% sure that the server you are connecting to is an official server? Bridude 2 Posted July 17, 2012 (edited) If you find yourself spawing in with no gear, get yourself killed. After that you will be spawed at your original location with all your stuff. I know it sounds crazy but I've seen it work about 15 times now.What seems to be happening is your character creates an additional new profile and you have to kill it off to go back to your old one.
