I am going to try and keep this short and sweet. I am all for the PvP aspect of this game. I feel like it reveals a glimpse at human nature, in a situation like this people are paranoid and the survival of the fittest is law. Some of the most gut-clenching moments I have had in DayZ have been Bandit run-ins.

I am firmly against the mandatory bandit skin, I feel like that is unrealistic, a bandit in real life wouldn't do anything to stand out, on the contrary.

What I love about this game is the realism and detail, it really lets you immerse yourself in the experience. One of the only aspects of the game I don't see matching up with real life is how trigger happy everyone is. I feel that in the real world, after surviving months of isolation in a post-apocalyptic zombie-infested world, you wouldn't greet the first sign of human life with gunfire. Most people would love a friend that could watch their back. I feel like the game should reflect this more, here is a simple fix that just might do that:

I do love the Karma aspect of the game and would love to see it implemented more. What if when you had good Karma (from sharing gear, medical supplies, giving blood transfusions, ect.) your loot spawns got a shade better? A slighter better chance to spawn gear that will help out. The flip-side would work with Bandits. If you want to be a bandit, fine. You wont be forced to change your skin or stand out in any way, but your loot spawns get a little worse. I feel like this lines up with real life pretty well. A group of people will search a grocery store more thoroughly that just one person, therefore more loot. Bandits that pillage the bodies of their victims would become more and more reliant on stolen loot, and would get less from scavenging and more from murdering and thieving.

I like the idea and it wouldn't be unrealistic as you said because you can search places better when being protected. Also it would only be fair to have better loot when you need to share it with others and you don't kill guys that will give you some.

But I doubt any bandit will agree on that – maybe someone has the balls to just go through with it, though. ;)

1) leenfld is more than enough for a good bandit he doesn't need advanced gear. Even with a hatchet bandit will remain bandit.

2) all the things spawn from the server you cannot force any spawn, so how you force someone to able to pick limited amount of gear when everything is already spawned.

Thats two things that should be solved in order for this to work.

yeah, the spawns would have to change. There would have to be some loot spawns that work like the zombie spawns, activated when you enter an area. I feel like there needs to be the common loot spawns as they are now, and additional loot that spawns based on the karma of the player entering the area.
