Possible to add items to both bag and person?

Is it possible to add items to my inventory by adding it to my character and my bag? How do I switch where I want to add items?

Open up your inventory (G by default), then click on your bag and click "bag" then you can move items between your inventory and your bag: number on the left of the item says it's in bag, on the right - in inventory. By clicking the arrows on either side you can move that item between inventory and bag :)
