Mic not working in DayZ? Read this! (Steam version)

Hello all.

After some weeks of not being able to use my microphone in Direct Communications or any other communications in DayZ. I got tired and started to do a lot of snooping around.

And found out that steam didn't have my microphone in it's settings.

So check this:

Go to steam - settings - voice

Check if your recording device is your microphone and if it's not change it to the correct one.

If you have none try press the Detect Audio Devices.

Then test your microphone by pressing Test Microphone.

Then choose the options that works for you.

Now you should have a working microphone in DayZ.

Oh! And if this works for you either like this post or write something nice.

Question: Do I use Steam when launching the game with Six launcher?

Aye. Otherwise it shouldn't have any effect. And if it's then not working without Steam, I've no clue.
