Difference between Slugs and Pellets?

Recommended Posts

Hi guys.

I'm running a double barreled shotgun, and I've noticed that I can load both slugs and pellets into it.

Is there any difference? Say something like pellets travels further than slugs or something? Because i honestly have no idea.

Thanks for answering :)

Slug is kinda like a bullet. Big damage, 1 projectile. Pellet is your average shotgun shot. Small projectiles will small damage per projectile, deadly at close range, can hit multiple targets in one shot.

well the difference is that

pellets are multiple little projectiles, you can hit multiple targets with them, good at close range.

slugs are one massive projectile which can be used clode to midrange, are accurater und a oneshotkill on zeds, not sure about players

Okay guys, that sums it up :).. Thanks a lot. I was wondering why i could oneshot a zombie from quite far away with my shotgun, I guess it was because it was loaded with slugs.
