Another Installation Issue Thread. PLEASE HELP!!

So I downloaded Arma 2 : COMbined Operations yesterday from Amazon.com and proceeded with the dayz installation guide and did the following:

-Downloaded the files from the mirror in http://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?threadid=3481582

-I then created @dayz/addons folder in C/program files/bohemia interactive/arma 2

-I extracted the dayz download files to here

-I then created a shortcut of arma2OA on the desktop and added

-mod=@DayZ (with a space between the ")

-I then clicked to launch, it works and I see @dayz in the top right hand corner.

However- when I go to multiplayer and dayz servers.. every single one has a red x to on the LHS. The version requires 1.60 and it says that mine is 1.60, but in red?

Any help would be very appreciated.

That mirror to the DayZ files isn't probably up to date, or may be illegal if necessary.

DayZ files go into @DayZ/Addons

Please make sure you download the official update!

When i go into the downloads and then choose between US and Swedish mirror, do I then have to download every single file individually?

I mean in the Index of / site, do I go into each of these folders (installer and old etc) and grab every single file or just the rar files shown from below?>

Just download all of the DayZ files. You don't have to download the changelog, take all the DayZ .rar files and unzip them into your @DayZ/Addons.

Make sure you check the installation guide! (Ignore Installer and Old)
