Sorry to whoever I killed on AU2...

This is how it went...

I recently died and respawned to start a new life on DayZ never committing murder before this was new to me. I decided since all I had was a hatchet I would head into elektro and see if I could find anything of value. I noticed a hacker had set fire to a building (the hospital to be precise), setting my nerves on edge I proceeded on into the apartment complexes after killing a few zeds I had caused to aggro. There was a group of two in the apartment both wielding hatchets, two being a group and three being a crowd I knew they would probably kill me over letting me be in their group. None the less I said friendly over direct comms before I could get close enough for a hatchet fight, they still did not know my location. After thirty seconds I charged in dispatching both of them with two quick slashes, they fell easily. Now here's the troubling part, I heard footsteps, I presumed down at the bottom of the stair I decided to go investigate thinking they were a party of three instead of two. As I shift crouched down the stairs I could tell he was getting closer, just as he turned the corner he noticed me, causing me to panic I swung the axe... Only to notice that he was starting to salute. He also had nothing but the starting gear :(

To this man I am sorry :C I thought you were with the group above. I should have asked if you were friendly but I was in a bit of a panic :/

These were my first murders in a spawn of 5 minutes. D:

I do feel bad for that guy, but I was in a panicky state. Maybe that doesn't justify it. Three murders, isn't that one away from being a bandit :/
