Killed a guy in Cherno today and he had a radio on him. The wiki says that it's rare and spawns on military zombies, and it seems useless. Anyone else find one of these?

I would like the idea of enabling side chat provided you had a radio on you. Just make the spawn a slight more common but not so much that everyone would have one.

Yep, side/global chat would be great. It would also be nice to be able to set the frequency so you could talk to your friends/group or search for frequencies used by other players to listen in on their "private" conversations.

It would also be nice to have some sort of transmitions/numbers stations like mentioned in this thread: http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/723-i-found-a-radio/

Flame me all you want but removing the side/global chat is the worst thing happened to this mod.Now i get quickly bored because there is no people chat with for the sake of chatting or simply ask for help.

Side chat is annoying and I read it was causing lag on some servers.
