Direct Communications Channel not working?

Recommended Posts

In Dayz no one can hear me talk to them in direct communications. I have tested with friends and I can hear them but they cant hear me although they can hear me fine though on skype, vent and teamspeak. Has anyone ran into this or found a solution to this problem. Thanks.

Are you sure you're actually talking, and it's actually into direct communications?

Yeah, I've switched it to direct communications at the bottom other than vehicle and group. Also the mic shows up so I know its on but no one can hear me in game

Well then it would be your setup with you mic. Maybe you default mic input is different then what you have ur mic plugged into.

Is your character's mouth moving when you try to talk in direct chat?

Some servers actually have direction communication disabled. It's freaking annoying.

[edit] also, I just read your post fully and sorry, can't help. :(

Your microphone settings are in your control panel.

Whoops, accidentally clicked report instead of quote. Disregard that mods!
