Infected

I feel that the fear of each other, (friendly or foe) could be increased if you add a chance of infections from bites. Then this could go a number of ways.

1. When a player gets infected that said player could hide the fact they have been infected. There could a timer in which he will get to a point where his charecter will suddenly turn into a zombie and bite other people around him. If he did this then with each person he had bitten would increase a stat to reduce the chance of infections when he respawnd from death. On the flip side if you are killed before you bite anyone it could increase the chance of you being infected next time from a bite.

2. Have said player who has been infected to draw zombies to a group by giving the infected player a wider threat radius. Thus making him a bad choice to group with. He can hide the fact he is infected and be rewarded by how long he goes undetected by the group carrying the infection. The longer he stays infected while in close proximity of other players the less attention he could earn from zombies when he is in a group being attacked. This threat reduction will obviously be added after he has died.

I feel one or both of these will increase the realism of a zombie apocolypse and add an extra layer of survival to the game. Just a thought I do not know the difficulties of such feature to be implimented are. Or if it will break or change other features of the game for the worse. But thats an idea of mine.

Also have a percent bar that fills with each hit you take from zombie. When it fills after x amount of hits you turn into zombie. Or you will turn into a zombie when you die and are fully infected
