"please stop dragging me, thank you"

Hey guys curious question here, sorry if it's a stupid one.

I was doing my thing as a new spawn on the coast when I was hit by either a bug or a hacker. Kept getting the white flash of taking a hit without losing any blood, and eventually one broke my leg. Then I died instantly. Oh well, respawn on a new server. I did this in case it was a hack.

When I logged back in I was alive again, albeit with a broken leg, bleeding and unconscious. Shortly before I bled out a message appeared in the middle of my screen saying "please stop dragging me, thank you".

I've never seen this before. Is that what happens when someone nearby types a message in direct chat? Is it even possible to talk while being dragged?

I don't recall being able to communicate in any way once your player is knocked out. It must be a strange glitch or something. Really wouldn't be surprised considering how buggy the game is at this point.

admin message was what I figured. It's get pretty cluttered and distracting if every close range direct chat message appeared right in the middle of the screen
