Can't see Zombies, field hospitals, stary sobor barracks...

Got a new computer, and ever since I started playing DayZ on it, I can't see any zombies, or the field hospitals, or the barracks in Stary sobor. Was just playing with a friend and he aggro'd zeds right by me, but they don't affect me. This is happening with 1.7.2.3 and it happened with 1.7.1.... any body have this happen and find a fix?

Verify the integrity of your game cache before you try anything else.

I'd say a fresh install of DayZ will fix it, as well as a fresh install of Arma 2 and Arma OA.
