Dragging of a player who has broken bones:

Player 1 is dragging Player 2 because they have broken their bones.

BFdrm.jpg?1

The movement of both players is dependent solely on player 1 because player 2 is the one being dragged.

Player 1 can only move in a crouched position;

  • if Player 1 attempts to stand they will be forced to go back to crouched position or let go of Player 2
  • if Player 1 attempts to prone they will let go of Player 2
  • Player 1 will move at a speed slightly slower than regular crouch speed.

Player 2 will not be able to do anything except shoot and switch weapons;

  • if Player 2 were to switching weapons it will not affect Player 1's movement speed.
  • if Player 2 were to Iron sight it will not affect Player 1's movement speed.
  • Player 2 can not shoot behind them similar to using ALT and viewing around you can not look behind yourself.

Optionally Player 2 can have a release option to not be dragged anymore (To prevent griefing)

Both Players;

  • Have to ability to shoot
  • Detach from each other
  • Can use iron sights

Carrying of a player with broken bones.

In order to carry Player 2, Player 1 must be standing

  • Player 1 will be unable to shoot.
  • Player 2 can shoot but has limited turning ability and can not use iron sight.
  • if Player 2 has a cross-hair the movement of being carried will have a great impact on it.
  • Player 2 cannot switch weapon
  • Player 2 will be able to reload but much slower
  • Movement would be base off Player 1
  • Speed would be between running and crouching
  • Releasing Player 2 improperly will cause Player 2 to take damage.

Benefits

  • Ability to pull/carry friend to safe area quicker than letting them crawl there.

Disadvantage

  • Both players can easily be taken down.

No reason for it. Wanna know why?

First off, how fast do you expect your partner to able to carry you? About as fast as he can carry you while unconscious, yes?

This speed is about the same speed if not slower than prone. So what is the advantage of carrying a broken leg player?

There is none, it's actually a disadvantage, because now 1 player will have to put a weapon down to drag your sorry ass.

So instead of a broken leg folk crawling by the side of a partner who has his weapon at the ready, the person doing the dragging is completely at the mercy of incoming fire.

Actually if you allowed me to finish my post you would see this is not the case.

Everything you post seems to be a repeat "Search forums" so perhaps before you post you should assume he's seen one of your 283 pointless posts telling people to search.

As for the OP, I think it's a great concept as pulling a buddy out of an open field to cover is extremely useful.

Wouldn't it be more sensible if your partner could lean walk on you. I mean the whole point of that move is to speed up movement so if they could lean on you and you support them, you could walk faster but at the cost of not being able to use weapons
