Rickdiculouss 0 Posted July 16, 2012 (edited) i've followed all the directions at http://dayzmod.com/f...ors/#entry18541 to a Tee [the steam and beta patch directions], however, there's still one problem plauging me relentlessly.I can get arma2 running, into the multiplayer menu, but joining a dayz game is where my problems lie.depending on how i launch the game, i get one of two errors.If i launch the game from the "Launch arma 2 OA beta patch" exe, when i attempt to join a game, i get the error that means im not running the game in Combined Ops mode.When i launch combined ops through steam and try to join a game, my version is 1.6 and not compatible with any dayZ server that i've been able to find.how am i supposed to run combined ops and the beta at the same time? is there some sort of target path edit that i've missed?i've been trying to get this game running for serveral dayz (pun pitifully intended) now.edit: on a completely unrelated note, is there a way one could PM an admin/mod? or request a ticket? xXDjosh13Xx 0 Posted July 16, 2012 To fix this you must put the beta patch file in the ArmA II: OA folder manually because for some people, the beta patch doesn't install properly.
