Every time I try joining a server, this message comes up.

"Requesting Character data from server" and I don't know what to do. Please help me out.

You just have to be patient. Don't forget this is an alpha for a mod that has gone from 0 players to over 60,000 in 4 weeks. The server is being stressed all the time. If it takes longer than an hour to connect, restart your router and try again.
