Ghillie topic (I know, I know)

So I have seen plenty of people with the same issues with desynch when equipping ghillies/ camo, but some say that they are able to equip them and play normally on certain servers. So I suppose what I'm asking is for those of you playing in your glorious ghillies, what servers seem to be working? I have had this suit burning a hole in my pack for a week now, it's driving me nuts!!! Thanks in advance.

I dunno. I tried a server with the latest patch both beta and DayZ.

It turned me invisible (Camo clothing).

This is somewhat off topic, but I'd rather not create a whole thread just to discuss it. I'm wondering if you could make suicide runs into big cities by equipping camo. It would lead to some serious griefing if you could just de-sync and then wreak havoc without having to worry about dying

Yeah, I have seen plenty of servers that don't work with 94786 and 1.7.2.3, but there are people out there who claim to be able to use them on certain servers. I'm hoping to be able to use this sometime soon, as Rocket and team haven't really mentioned the issue.

So what servers do you play on? What version are you running? You haven't been desynched at all when wearing the ghillie suit? Don't worry about me dying, that won't happen. If it does, I hit my tent and grab another one lol

Only played the latest 1.7.2.3 patch, didnt notice any desync, but I did however have an issue gutting animals where as the Meat doesnt appear. But read somewhere that other players (Not wearing Ghillie) had the same issue so it's not Ghillie suit related. I play on UK and SE servers with high population.

Thanks, I will give it a shot. My home server is hosted by HFB, so I figured this must not be related to the hive version update that all servers are supposed to be getting. It's really confusing how some folks can use them fine and others get desynched. Did you find your ghillie after the patch or were you carrying it beforehand?

I picked the Ghillie suit up in 1.7.2, so carried it around until 1.7.2.3 because of the Suit bug which caused item loss when equipping it.

Yeah it's weird that some ppl have issues with them, haven't had any issue with mine though..

Welp, I suppose I'll get to my tent and find out. Thanks for the answers guys. Priceline- I did make mention of that in my initial post, but was certain that my main servers had to have updated.
