Tent question + saving

If my character dies, goes back to his tent and "saves" it. Will the tent still disappear?

I just asked the same question today. I got an awesome answer ( the one I was hoping to hear). As long as you have an active tent (one that you use/save often) the tent will stay on the map. No worries :]

When your character dies you have 2 days, To get a new tent and move your stuff. Becuase you tent will disappear.

Not correct whatsoever. I have died many many times and my first tent is still there. I have never heard of any tents disappearing on their own.
