I bought BAF and PMC for (Error problem)

I bought British Armed Forces and Private Military Company for DayZ to improve the graphics. I tried launching both games before starting up DayZ and I got a message saying "Error creating 3D 9 graphical engine" or something like that. What do I do? Someone said to add " -mod=@DayZ " to the launch options but that didn't work.

Wait, did you try using Six Launcher already?

Personally i'm using DayZCommander and when I ticked the 'Launch Using Steam' option I got this error, once I unticked it again, it worked like normal, so perhaps there is a problem between ArmA and Steam..

Atleast that's what I think right now.

No but do I need to install patches for BAF and PMC? I tried and right now BAF is finished but i just get error after error after error. So It wont let me install that patch.

EDIT: PMC just finished. Same problem.

I don't have to expension packs myself so I can't help that much either.. Perhaps you can find some help on the steam forums? This sounds a bit more Arma / steam related since you can't even start the game.

i have the same problem. i bought all the armas before dayz even came out. i was playing then logged out. i then installed PMC addons and after that i cant play dayz anymore without a message popping up about pmc character skins

Run all as Admin....run all games into menu once before trying to load Dayz
