Xlar 1 Posted July 15, 2012 I've seen a few posts about this; I also have had a FPS drop aswell as loading times into servers (I can deal with that)Specs:ATI Radeon HD 6850. Latest drivers.8GB RAM.AMD Phenom II X6 1090T (6 cpu's) ~3.2GHz.Any ideas? Anyone else having this issue using ATI cards?
jason_h44@hotmail.com 313 Posted July 15, 2012 no got ATI but nvidia gtx 460 and since last few patches ( with fps fixes ) it was doing alot better but lately getting some real bad problems with fps/lag on servers ( usually UK8 ) maybe due to lack of a restart server side as it can differ on every other server join from being a good fps performance or terrible? suspense 210 Posted July 15, 2012 Its due to object cleanup being borked, theres nothing you can do about it but wait until Rocket releases a new patch that will fix it. Alternatively, you can try and find a server that havent been running for too long.
-AL-Eclipse 14 Posted July 15, 2012 arma is a insane engine. i have dual 6770's and i still lag. its a combination of armas insane engine and your graphics card not being able to hand it. arma sengine, although old is still so insanely powerful that even modern graphics cards have trouble. run the game on lowest settings and turn the render view distance on 500. works great and looks a nice bit more realistic . :)btw if your trying to run it on high. your insane. Xlar 1 Posted July 15, 2012 I switched servers and it fixed both loading time and FPS drop, weird. I am running it on very high lol with AA of and motion blur off

Like i already said, object cleanup is broken which destroys the framerate on some servers.
