Can't join servers

Dying to try this game out but I can't seem to join any servers.

I'm getting the error on every dayz server I try and join - "you cannot play/edit this mission; it is dependant on downloadable content that has been deleted.chernarus"

You're missing the file for the mod, re-download the mod and follow the instructions, then stop complaining because you're to dumb to read the instructions. (That exact issue was posted in the how-to thread.)

Think you need to copy 'Addons' from the standard Arma II folder to the OA folder. Worked for me.

You do have ARMA Operation Arrowhead right? If the map is missing, a complete reinstall might be in order.

Chernarus is an Arma 2 map, to fix this, if you have the steam version you can right click on Operation Arrowhead and click Launch Arma 2: Combined Operations, if you don't have the steam version, try Mr R S0le's fix.

Thanks for the info, guys, but it's working just fine now.

The problem was the fact I was using ARMA free and Arrowhead, so the code that they give you, in the installation section, to type into steam was wrong.
